Which should I buy? The X100F, XT2 or the XPRO2?
Firstly this is not a comparison in specs as such, it’s just a question I’ve been struggling with. I thought I’d share my thoughts as there could be someone going through the same thing as I have been.
With the weddings picking up this year and being in a position to upgrade my gear I thought I would. As it currently stands my set up is, the XT1 coupled with the XF56mm 1.2 and X100T. I have the 18mm and the original 35 to mix things up. I also owned an XE-2 as back up which I got rid of last year. So the reasons I would like to upgrade:
• Speed
• WR (weather sealing)
• Dual card slots
• Back up
• In a position where I can (most importantly)
Those are the reasons so what should I upgrade to?
Let’s face it, it wasn’t a great amount of time ago that the XT1 was boss. Image quality is already on point. It’s marginally smaller than the newer flagship models. The problem really only lies with one of my camera’s. It pains me to say it but it’s the X100T. It is a brilliant little tool but I’ve been somewhat blinded by love. It is slow and not the best in dimly lit situations.
