Photography and especially Street Photography is often open to interpretation by the viewer. To me a good street photo always provides more questions that it provide answers. One of the most powerful aspects of this interpretation is often “Emotion”.

I’m sure that some viewers might have a chill going through the spine when first looking at the image below. Luckily we are not witnessing the drowning of a baby. The young girl is merely playing with her dolls on a beach along the Cote d’Opale in Northern France.

It highlights that we always have to be careful when looking at images before making conclusions. And this includes everything that comes out of a traditional media and so called thrust worthy sources as well. Remember that a rumor is only that. It is not a fact!

Image details:

Fujifilm X-T4 with XF18-135 lens 1/210s, f13, ISO160, 99mm focal length Lightroom Classic to develop the RAW file using “Provia” camera profile I’ve started a new gallery in my “Travel” section titled “Cote d’Opale (Opale coast); a stretch of 120km (70miles) coastline starting from the Belgian border in the north till Picardy in the south. It contains a largely variety of landscapes from very wide beaches to swaps and lots of high cliffs. Check out the entire gallery here. To do plan to return for at least one trip in the coming weeks.
The image was shot with the new Fujifilm X-T4 which I tested for a few
