01 Apr Fujifilm XF16mm f/2.8 + X-H1 Vlogging Test

I think everyone who vlogs are on a perpetual quest to find the perfect vlogging set-up. The perfect body with the perfect lens, or perhaps the best all-in-one system. The selection is getting better year over year, but each combination seems to lack something. The latest X-T30 would be perfect if it had IBIS and the right lens to match with it. I think the XF16mm f/2.8 R WR would be a great prime vlogging lens. It’s compact, light, quiet and fast AF. The only problem is that it doesn’t have OIS. The best solution (for now) is to match the XF 16mm f/2.8 with the IBIS enabled X-H1. Check out my quick video and vlogging test with this new prime ‘Fujicron’ lens on the X-H1. It’s not perfect (yet) but I think for those who want a compact wide angle lens for both video and stills, this is a competent combination within the Fujifilm ecosystem until IBIS can be matched with their latest sensor + processor. Thanks for watching and happy shooting!
