27 Jan Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f/2.8 WR Coming after XF 80mm f/2.8 Macro Lens

Fujifilm already released three compact, lightweight and stylish lenses: XF 23mm f/2 R WR, XF 35mm f/2 R WR, XF 50mm f/2 R WR – their beautiful bokeh and high-speed autofocus are ideally suited for portrait photography. Then fujifilm will release the mid-telephoto 1:1 macro lens “XF 80mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro”. This mid-telephoto macro lens with the field of view equivalent to 122mm (in the 35mm film format) is the X series’ first 1:1 macro interchangeable lens. The lens, covering macro photography from mid-telephoto to telephoto range, also features high-performance image stabilization.

And according to the report from FujiRumors, Fujifilm will announce a new XF 8-16mm f/2.8 WR lens after the release of the XF 80mm f/2.8 Macro lens. The detailed specs and announcement date are still unknown.
