TThe XF 23mm f2 is a wide-angle prime lens for Fujifilm’s mirrorless X-Series. Delivering a 35mm equivalent field-of-view, it’s ideal as a general-purpose lens and perfect for street shooters too. Compared to the older XF 23mm f1.4, it may be a stop dimmer in aperture, but it’s smaller, lighter and roughly half the price, while also boasting quicker and quieter focusing and a weather-sealed barrel. To find out which is best for you I’ve been closely comparing both lenses, while also including the XF 10-24mm f4 into the mix, but ahead of my in-depth review, I’d like to share a selection of sample images.
