Fujifilm updates its development roadmap for interchangeable lenses for the “X series” of digital cameras

Three new interchangeable lenses form a 25-lens lineup that offers a wide shooting range

FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Kenji Sukeno) has released an updated roadmap of interchangeable lenses for the X series of mirrorless cameras.
The latest roadmap adds three new lenses: the compact, lightweight and stylish semi-wide angle lens “XF23mmF2 R WR”, the compact mid-telephoto lens “XF50mmF2 R WR” and the mid-telephoto 1:1 macro lens “XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro”. The expanded 25-lens lineup covers extensive angles of view from ultra wide angle to ultra telephoto, and will now also cover the macro category to further enhance photographic versatility.

<Three lenses newly added to the roadmap>

– Semi wide angle lens “XF23mmF2 R WR”

The semi wide angle lens “XF23mmF2 R WR” gives the field of view equivalent to 35mm (in the 35mm film format). The compact, lightweight and stylish lens features a high-speed autofocus capability, making it perfect for casual snapshots.

– Mid telephoto lens “XF50mmF2 R WR”

The mid telephoto lens “XF50mmF2 R WR” has a field of view equivalent to 76mm (in the 35mm film format). Its beautiful bokeh and high-speed autofocus are ideally suited for portrait photography.

Similarly to the new “XF23mmF2 R WR” and existing “XF35mm F2R WR” lenses, this lens features a compact, lightweight and stylish appearance which creates a new “compact prime trio” range within the complete lineup of interchangeable lenses for
