Just before I begin my thoughts with regards to the Fujifilm FUJINON XF50 140mm Lens

I just wanted to mention my previous blog with regards to the Samyang 135mm lens, you can read the article (HERE) if you hadn’t read this review, in the blog I mentioned that I would write another article after doing a few more tests.

The Samyang is superb, it’s super sharp and after just an hour with this lens I had the manual focus nailed, using the peaking on the Xpro2 set at high RED, but I did say you have to have the camera on a tripod unless you’re a weightlifter.

For me personally after a few more trials, I unfortunately had to send the beast back, my reasons for getting this lens, which was basically for a wedding I’m shooting next month, I would only be utilising the 135mm for the ceremony however It would be far too heavy for my little muscles!

If you can use this lens continuously on a mono tripod, you won’t be disappointed, it’s a wonderful, well made lens, you can check out the test shoot images (HERE)

Now then, let’s get down and dirty with my thoughts and experience at this stage using the Fujifilm FUJINON XF50 140mm Lens

Let me just add the technical information here which you can find on Fuji.com website. You can skip this if you prefer…
