I was trying out the Fuji 56mm f1.2 on the Fuji X-T2 this afternoon. My cat helpfully supported a test of the Fuji’s ability to focus track a moving (fairly slowly it must be said) subject.
I set the camera to AF-C setting and the Autofocus mode to ‘Zone’ and shot at CH (continuous High) as the cat walked past.
The X-T2 has done well to track the subject especially with the shallow Depth of field at f1.2 which is pretty un-forgiving for missed focus.
I am hoping that focus tests converted to short animated GIF’s will catch on 🙂
