This blog post isn’t about New York. It’s about Christmas. Somehow.

Like every year there is Christmas and even though I don’t believe in the “Christkind” anymore these are still the most important holidays of the year. By far! The days before are stressful. So many things need to be finished before year’s end, you should see some of your old friends and you have to get the gifts.

Beside all that you should be able to get into the right mood for Christmas. It seems to get harder over time and of course it doesn’t help to travel through India for the first half of December. But Tuesday was my last day in the office for this year so I already had some time to mentally prepare for Christmas.

Since I returned from India the weather was very cold. Unfortunately there was no snow but it was well below zero degrees Celsius. So today morning I decided to put on my long johns to get out to take some pictures before it will be all gone. All trees and fields were coated with thick frost. The frost was so thick that the fruit trees looked like Joshua trees. It was magical. I will post more shots soon.

This year I traveled more than I ever did before. Three times I went to South East Asia and three times to India too. I also visited Japan and I spent a great three weeks vacation in the South West…
